Here are the changes to your deposit account

Dear Valued Customer,
We’re getting closer to bringing you a new banking experience with the conversion to the Republic Group’s technology platforms.

When the systems go live November 1, 2022, your deposit account is one area where you will see the changes reflected. Here’s some important information for you:

New Bank Account Number: We will contact you directly to provide you with your new 12-digit account number.

ATM Cards (OneCards): Your current ATM card (OneCard) will be replaced with a new international debit card. We will advise when your new debit card(s) are available for collection.

Personal Identification Number (PIN): You may opt to keep your existing PIN (OneCard) or choose another PIN for your new International Debit Card.

Conducting Over-the-Counter/ Point-of-Sale Transactions: When using your new debit card to conduct over-the-counter purchases, you will be prompted to select the account type of your preferred account (Chequing or Savings) to complete your transaction.

Cheque books: A new cheque book will be provided at no cost to you.
• You can continue to use your current stock of cheques until October 31, 2022.
• Cheques issued before and up to October 31, 2022, will be honoured for six months thereafter.
• As far as possible we suggest that you do not overstock your cheques (order just enough) before November 1, 2022.
• In the event that you require additional cheques prior to November 1, 2022, please contact your branch.
• On November 1, 2022, you should discontinue use of and destroy your old stock of cheques and utilise your new cheque books.

How can you prepare for the change?
While your new account numbers will not be activated until the new systems go live, it is important for you to advise any stakeholder with whom you regularly conduct banking transactions, of the change to your account number(s) so that all necessary preparations can be made.
