Through our support of community outreach programmes, sport, culture, poverty alleviation, education and entrepreneurship we have continued to partner with individuals and groups in the communities in which we operate to promote self-sufficiency, development and hope for the future.

November 15th, St. George, Grenada: For yet another year, Managers at Republic Bank displayed the true spirit of giving during the Christmas Season, at a cheque presentation ceremony dedicated to various charitable organizations at Republic House.
Representatives of various charitable organizations received monetary contributions totaling $30,500.00, as part of the Bank’s community outreach initiative. The beneficiaries included the Dorothy Hopkin Centre for the Disabled, the Grenada Foundation for Needy Students, Cadrona Home for the Aged, Rotary Club Grenada East Vosh Eye Care Programme, the GRENCODA Books & Uniform Programme, and the Grenada National Council for the Disabled.
Patients, who are battling chronic diseases such as cancer, kidney, diabetes and heart disease, also benefitted through the umbrella organizations: Grenada Cancer Society; Grenada National Patient Kidney Foundation; Grenada Diabetes Foundation; Grenada Heart Foundation; as well as to the CHORES Support Group in Grenada which benefits children requiring extensive medical care.
During the ceremony, the Managing Director of Republic Bank, Mr. Keith Johnson said “As a Good Corporate citizen, we see as part of our mission, the need to contribute in a tangible way towards the efforts of organisations such as yours. We commend your magnificent work in helping those in our society who are in need. Our annual Christmas contribution to your various organizations is yet another example of our way of giving back to the Communities we serve, and commit to this annual event.”
