Republic Bank congratulates all mothers whose babies were born on New Year’s Day. According to Eda J. Le Shan “A new baby is like the beginning of all things - wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities.”
Republic Bank will like to help the first ten babies born on January 1st 2010 to have the right start to a bright and prosperous future by providing them with a Republic Bank RightStart savings account.
Republic Bank RightStart is the name of the savings account for persons from birth to the age of nineteen (19). RightStart is a flexible savings account which helps to teach children wise spending habits, foster an environment for saving, pays interest monthly, plus offers discounts from a wide range of Merchants Island wide.
To open the RightStart savings accounts, mothers are asked to contact the Marketing Department of Republic Bank at 444 2265, extension 203.
REPUBLIC BANK DONATES $30,500 TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS
In keeping with the spirit of Christmas giving, Republic Bank made monetary contributions totaling $30,500 to eleven charities. The presentations were made on Friday, by Republic Bank’s Managing Director, Keith Johnson in a brief ceremony at Republic House.
The Bank has made similar contributions over the past five years, and Managing Director, Keith Johnson told the recipients
“Notwithstanding the current economic conditions, Republic Bank remains committed to its Social Corporate Responsibility and I pledge our continued support in the coming years. This contribution is our way of bringing a bit of joy and happiness into the lives of the less fortunate in our community, at the time when we celebrate the birth of Him who gave His life for us.”
