St. George’s: January 18, 2010: Republic Bank Limited and its subsidiaries in Grenada, Guyana and Barbados have contributed the equivalent of EC $440,500 to start a Republic Bank Haiti Disaster Relief Fund.
We invite our customers and other members of the public to join us in helping Haiti recover through our selfless contributions. Donations can be made through any branch of Republic Bank (Grenada) Limed located island wide including Carriacou and Petite Martinique, to account # 61007152.

REPUBLIC BANK CONTINUES TO CONTRIBUTE TO HAITI DISASTER RELIEF EFFORTS
On February 4, 2010 Republic Bank (Grenada) Limited handed over $16,813.00 to the Grenada Red Cross Society towards the Haiti Disaster Relief Fund. This amount represents staff contribution of $8,165.00, and customer and public donation of $8,648.00.
In making the presentation Managing Director, Keith Johnson said “Republic Bank is pleased to assist the people of Haiti in their hour of need, through this contribution to the Grenada Red Cross. We applaud the selflessness demonstrated by our staff, our customers, and the general public, and are confident the funds will assist in bringing relief to the people of Haiti.”
According to President of the Grenada Red Cross Society, Mr. Terry Charles, the funds are greatly appreciated and will be personally delivered to the Red Cross Society in Haiti.
The Bank appreciates the selfless contributions of local groups and individuals who responded to the Appeal for Haiti, and continues to encourage further donations which can be made through any branch of Republic Bank to account # 61007152.
