Republic Bank Angel Harps Steel Orchestra is Ready to Defend

The Republic Bank Angel Harps Steel orchestra is the reigning ‘Bomb Tune’ champion and as true champs are hard at practice to defend their title in the first ever Pantastic Saturday steel pan band competition. This competition is being held in place of Panorama on Saturday August 7th at the National Stadium.
This year, the Republic Bank Angel Harps Steel Orchestra plans to thrill fans with two Black Wizard compositions entitled ‘Soca Feeling’ and ‘Raga Soca’ and urges steel pan music lovers and the general public to support the art form.
Republic Bank has been the sponsor of the Republic Bank Angel Harps Steel Orchestra since 1982. According to Managing Director, Republic Bank (Grenada) Limited, Keith Johnson “we are proud of the accomplishments of the band over the years and extend best wishes to them as they defend their title as ‘Bomb Tune Champion’ at Pantastic Saturday.”
